Pearl Jam Cancels London Gig Due to Illness, Fans Disappointed

Pearl Jam have called off a concert at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend.

On X, the rock band announced that Saturday's concert was cancelled because of illness.

They said the show won't be rescheduled, and tickets can be refunded where they were bought.

"The decision was really hard to make, especially since we know many of you made travel plans for the tour," the post said.

"We had no other choice because of our current health and to prevent more harm."

"We're very disappointed we can't play in one of our favorite cities this tour. Despite our best efforts, we couldn't reschedule because of other commitments."

They also said sorry for the "inconvenience and disappointment" it will cause fans.

The Seattle band performed at Manchester’s Co-Op Live arena earlier this week. Frontman Eddie Vedder mentioned he was sick and having trouble with his voice.

However, the band's latest post doesn't give many details. It only says the London show was cancelled "due to illness in the band."

The band is currently touring to promote their twelfth album, Dark Matter, which hit number two on the UK albums chart.

Their next performance is set for Berlin on July 2nd.
